5. quite +a/ an + adj + n quite a clever boy 一个相当聪明的男孩

6. quite a lot (of ) 相当多的

7. Anything is possible. 一切皆可能。 anything 通常用在否定句或疑问句中

Is there anything new in today’s newspaper? 在今天的报纸上有什么新事情吗？

不定代词作主语时，谓语用单数。

8. grow vegetables 种蔬菜

grow up 长大，成长 What will you be when you grow up?

The vegetables grow fast in summer. 在夏天蔬菜长得快。

9. pick apples / strawberries 摘苹果 / 草莓

pick up 拾起， Pick up the pen on the floor 把地板上的钢笔捡起来。
